The Red Cross Club Takes A Trip To The Franklin Firehouse

           The Red Cross Club took a trip down to Fire Station 2 to help clean trucks and get a taste of what a day in life looks like for a firefighter. The club started by getting their hands wet by cleaning off the outside of the firetrucks and ambulances, then quickly transferred to sweeping the inside of the vehicles. In the end, the Captain gave a behind-the-scenes tour of the firehouse. The firefighters told the club that they try to clean the firetrucks every morning if they can. It was a great day to help out our community, and it definitely gave me a new appreciation for the work that the firefighters do behind the scenes!
