Girl Up is a “girl-centered leadership development initiative” that works to fight for gender equality worldwide.
Franklin High School has its own Girl Up club that meets every Monday in room 226, where you can hang out with your friends while also learning new things about women and gender equality. They discuss topics like women in the music industry, women in the criminal justice system, and more. They also volunteer, host events, and attend and encourage Franklin women’s sports games.
After school, students walk into room 232 to attend the Girl Up meeting.
