The showtime hit TV drama “Dexter” has been renewed for two more seasons.

Dexter has been renewed for seasons seven and eight. The show is currently in the middle of airing seasons six. The season six premiere was the shows most watched season premiere with 2.2 million viewers, 24% higher than the season five premiere.

Hard to believe the show was almost not renewed for any new seasons because of a salary dispute with the main star, Michael C. Hall. It was reported that Hall wanted $24 million for seasons seven and eight but was only offered $20 million. It is still unknown about the final number they agreed on but who cares the show still goes on!
