Student Government representatives and class officers met Wednesday morning to discuss the introduction of Franklin Fridays, biweekly spirit days to improve school culture.

The first Franklin Friday will be held on March 13, and students are encouraged to support the school by wearing FHS apparel. There will be a competition for participation among grades, and the grade with the highest tally at the end of the year will be rewarded. The competition will be run through Twitter in the same manner as Twin Day of this year’s spirit week.

Franklin Fridays come as part of Student Government’s continuing initiative to improve school culture, in conjunction with DJ of the Day.

Student Government also discussed blocked websites, printer issues, and springtime courtyard usage. These topics will be further discussed moving forward.
