It’s that time of year again, winter is right around the corner and FHS students are taking notice.

A 2013 long-range weather forecast is predicting a very cold and dry Winter, but not everyone is happy about the cold season.

“I love winter, it’s my favorite season, winter means it’s hockey season.” says Winter loving Joe Tobin

“Winter is always so festive and happy with Christmas and all the other holidays” continued Tobin

Winter may be the most wonderful time of year for some, but others disagree.

If you feel all the early darkness and cold makes you gloomy, your not the only one. There is a condition known as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) which is known to make people depressed during certain seasons.

“It feels nice to get warm and cozy but I hate how snow is wet and your clothes get soaked” said FHS junior Chris Lutz who feels summer is the best season.

Lutz enjoys summer “Because I don’t have to get very dressed up and I can cool down easily by going in a pool”
