Hockey fans have been waiting impatiently since June for their favorite NHL teams to jump back into action for the start of the 2011-2012 NHL season. Even the bandwagon fans might have been counting down a week or two until the Bruins season starts up again. “I am so excited, I wait all year for the NHL season to start, I’m a huge hockey kid” said Brianna Chelkonas, a junior at Franklin High School. This Thursday, as families and friends huddle around their televisions watching the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers battling for victory of the game; Reminisce of the Bruins Stanley cup victory is fresh on the mind. The only question now is, is it too soon to start itching for another Cup?
