Every Friday after school, the FHS photography club meets in room 128 to learn about photographic techniques and practice taking photos with the school’s supply of DSLR cameras. Brady Flynn, a senior member of the club, says that the club is formatted around somewhat open-ended assignments, and students are encouraged to pursue their creative passion, and to have fun with the assignment.

The club is accessible for every skill level, whether you’re an experienced photographer or just starting out, there are always senior members with more

experience who are more than willing to help out, and to provide some insight and guidance.

“One of the most difficult things in creating any type of art, photography being no exception, is finding inspiration to continue growing ones skills, and that is what the photography club aims to do” Says Flynn

The senior members of the club encourage students to join the club to aid in their process of finding inspiration and challenges to progress their skills as photographers.

Every good photo tells a story, and the photography club may be your avenue to telling beautiful stories through a camera lens.
