Last Friday, the Girls’ Basketball teams played Milford in the Coaches for Cancer game, a night dedicated to raising money for the Nick Strong Foundation.

On Friday, fans and players supported Nick and his cause by showing up in pink apparel, #NickStrong bracelets, and special shooting shirts. Not only did the game raise awareness for pediatric cancer and educate fans about Nick’s story, but ticket sales went directly to the Nick Strong Foundation

The Foundation is in memory of Nick Gaspar, a student-athlete who passed away last year after a long fight with cancer. He was and continues to be an inspiration for all. Through the Nick Strong Foundation, countless dollars have been raised to fund cancer research and financial assistance to families of cancer patients.

The night became even more memorable with wins on all three levels. In energetic games, the Panthers Freshman and Varsity teams defeated Milford and the JV team beat Notre Dame Academy.
