The SADD Walk of Tears occurs to honor the memory of two students, Maura Howard and Amy Callaghan, who were killed in drunk driving accidents. SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) raises awareness for the cause as well as money for scholarships for Franklin High or King Phillip students.
