The Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA championship 106-93 in game six against the Miami Heat.

LeBron James won finals MVP scoring 28 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists, a triple double. When talking about this, an FHS freshman, Brady, said, he was the most dominant player on the floor at all points in the game. This was LeBron’s fourth finals MVP and also his fourth championship.

During the game, the Heat seemed unmatched as the Lakers piled points on points. The Lakers led by a whopping 36 points at one point in the game. FHS freshman Brady McGonagle, a Lakers fan, said the game was over by the third quarter.

LeBron’s partner in crime, Anthony Davis, added 19 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks.

This was definitely a memorable season for Los Angeles after losing NBA legend Kobe Bryant a few months before. The Lakers dedicated their season to them and this fueled them throughout the playoffs.

Bam Adebayo seemed to be the only spark on the Heat’s bleak offense scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks. Jimmy Butler had a dull game only adding on 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

After the game the Lakers were able to celebrate with Champagne in the locker room.

This was the final game so they were able to leave the bubble where they had been staying for months due to Covid-19. The bubble was located in Walt Disney world.
