Panther Week in Review

The week of March 7th to March 11th was a busy week at Franklin High.

On Monday, the Chris Herren presentation came to a close with students watching a documentary, reflecting on it, and sharing thoughts and feelings with their peers.

Also on Monday, all the stress for juniors and seniors applying to the National Honor Society finally ended, as applications were due.

On Tuesday, Boy’s Hockey beat Newton North with a score of 3 to 0, and will play Marshfield on Sunday for the D1 title.

On Wednesday, Varsity Boy’s Basketball season came to an end when they played St. John’s at WPI, and lost with a score of 67 to 52.

Thursday was Science Night at FHS, where members of Science NHS displayed projects they had been working on, and showcased activities for kids.

Also this week, the FHS math team advanced to the state math meet.

The powerlifting team will compete at the state championships this Sunday at Xaverian High School.
