Class Officer Elections – Are You Running?

David Goodfellow

Class officer and student government elections for the 2016-2017 school year are right around the corner.

If you are interested in running for a class officer position or to be a student government representative, start by picking up a nomination form outside the History Department Office, Room 222, or by printing out the form linked here. After acquiring twenty signatures from classmates, a signature from your class adviser, and one from your assistant principal, submit the form to any of the three main offices by Friday, May 6.

Additionally, all candidates must make a campaign submission (such as a video, e-poster, or letter) and email it to his or her class advisor by Monday, May 9th.

Elections for class officers will run from Monday, May 16 to Wednesday, May 18, and elections for representatives will run from Monday, May 23 to Wednesday, May 25.

Students will be able to vote in all four lunches by paper ballot for the candidates they feel are most qualified to represent their class or the school as a whole.

Good luck to all candidates; we’ll see you at the polls!
