Female Sports Medicine Doctor Speaking at Franklin High School on 9/11

On Tuesday, September 11th (7pm), Dr. Elizabeth Matzkin, a female sports medicine expert will be speaking  to female athletes and their parents on ways to stay healthy including topics such as Relative Energy Deficiency, bone stress injuries, and sports specialization in the Franklin High School Auditorium.

Elizabeth Matzkin, MD is the Chief of Women’s Sports Medicine and the Sports Medicine Fellowship Director at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School.  She has developed a world-class program for female athletes with a robust research program focusing on Women’s Sports Medicine. She is highly regarded for her accomplishments in education, research and patient care.
