Students at states competed in their events, visited workshops, and explored shops nearby. On the first day, Franklin and all of the other high schools competing were welcomed in an opening ceremony. Franklin DECA received acknowledgment under the category of “thrive” with two awards: Membership Campaign and Chapter Campaigns. On the second day, students competed in their events depending on their slot time. When students were not competing in their event, they visited multiple workshops about future careers in business, money spending, inflation, etc.

Mass DECA organized a couple of fun events called DECA after dark for the students like cornhole, dancing, and karaoke. These events connected everyone from different schools together in a fun and inclusive environment.
