Journaling To Pass Time During Social Distancing

Journaling+To+Pass+Time+During+Social+Distancing

With the COVID-19 pandemic closing schools, cancelling events, and keeping people indoors, it can be difficult to find ways to keep oneself busy and pass the time. Even with online classes in place, there is still a lot of free time to become adjusted to.

Many people have taken up journaling. It can be therapeutic to write down your thoughts and feelings about what is going on. And with this being such a major historical event, it is almost like creating a time capsule.

So, where to begin? Journaling is a very personal project, so there is no one way to do it. You will want to start with a notebook or binder with plenty of paper. You can decorate a journal with stickers or colors if you have any. With that, you can get started.

After that, journaling becomes very open-ended. Write about whatever you want. Try to write every day if you can, but there is no reason to make yourself write paragraphs about every little thing. You can write little blurbs if that is what you want. You can draw, and you can let your imagination run wild.
