Andrew Cuomo, an American politician, author, lawyer, and 56th governor of New York since the year of 2011. He supports the Democratic Party and was elected for the same position as his father, Mario Cuomo who was there for three terms. He is currently 63 years old.

Recently, it has come to light that there are new sexual harassment claims about the New York Governor.

Alyssa McGrath had the courage to come forward and tell the truth about what happened between her and Cuomo. She is currently 33 and is the first aid in Andrew Cuomo’s office to come forward. Since her story has come to light there are a few other women who gained the confidence to speak out about what happened to them as well.

Ms. McGrath’s lawyer, Mariann Wang, notes to the New York Times how “this would be unacceptable behavior from any boss, much less the governor.” She also adds how women are at that office to work and “not serve as his eye candy or prospective girlfriend.”

McGrath also adds how he calls her names and says things that make her visibly uncomfortable but also the fact that he was one time just “blatantly looking down my shirt.” He played it off by asking what is on her necklace when in reality McGrath new exactly what he was doing.

There are two other women who have come forward, Lindsey Boylan and Charlotte Bennett. Both women again say how the governor has acted very inappropriately towards them, certainly an issue that needs to be addressed right away.

Boylan mentions how Cuomo would give unsolicited kisses, but yet Cuomo claims this never happened.

Bennett, who is 25, says how the governor was asking questions about her sex life. By the end of the conversation between herself and Cuomo it was clear to her that “the governor wanted to sleep with me”

Additionally, other current and former aides in the office have explained that they felt pressure to wear makeup, heels, and dresses despite there being no official dress requirement for their place of work.

Bennett’s lawyer, Debra Katz, has provided over 100 documents and at least four hours of testimonies to the investigators supporting that Cuomo did in fact “create a sexually hostile work environment.”

As of right now Andrew Cuomo is not admitting to anything, and has not yet been charged with anything. As to what happened in the future, time will tell and hopefully justice is served for the women in his office.
